What is the force required to compress 0.015625 cubic meters of air from 101325 to 202650 pascals? The air begins at 16 degrees Celsius (the average temperature on Earth). Imagine an air tight piston being pushed into a chamber with .25*.25*.25 meter box.

What I did was calculate P = F/Area, but I'm not sure what to use as pressure. What I did was the difference between the compressed and uncompressed air, that is (202650 - 101325 or simply 101325).
P = F/A
F = P*A
F = 101325*(.25*.25)
F = 6332.8125
I don't understand, this number seems way to high to me.
Can anyone help explain the concept/ equations for me please?
