1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
A voltage of 14 V is placed on a capacitor with C = 113 pF (picofarads).
(a) What is the charge on the capacitor?
(b) How much energy is stored in the capacitor?
I believe I have the correct equation but I'm not sure about the final answer because of the picofarads. Are my answers correct?
2. Relevant equations
(a)Q=C*U
(b)E,stored=1/2*C*U^2
3. The attempt at a solution
(a)113*14=1.582e-6
(b)113*14^2*(1/2)=11.074e-6
