I feel that I can do number 1, 2, and 6. I need help with 3, 4, and 5.
I can attempt a solution at number 3, but I need the solution to 3, to do 4 and 5.
I first take the moment about point A to get the support reactions. M(a) = 0 = -6*10sin60 + By*10cos30
By =
Sum the forces in the direction to get the support reactions Ay, By, and Ax will equal zero.
Then I start to get frustrated because I don't think I am doing this right. You want to pull apart the frame and note that CD is a two force member? Arghhh... any help?
